Jet and I are off to our first show in a few weeks time....yikes!! In addition to the weekly obedience class, we've been also been going to ringcraft training - I think the hard work is starting to pay off and although this stand is far from perfect, we're getting there!

Reunion

James and I went over to visit some friends in Newmarket yesterday and we took the dogs out for a run on the heath. Jet was so excited to see Murphy - they've known each other since Jet was a little pup as I used to have the office next door to Murphy's owner.

Water baby

Strange isn't it. The prospect of having a warm bath at home is, in Jet's mind, cause enough for a letter to the RSPCA, yet it's next to impossible to keep him out of the water on a cold winter's morning. Go figure. He loves to wade in and 'catch' the reeds that stick out above the surface of the water. Each to their own, eh.

Certified!

Our clever boy was awarded his certificate and rosette last night for successfully completing the puppy foundation level of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme. Our instructor said he'd been a joy to have in the group, that he'd sailed through the course and that it wont be too long until he's ready to take his bronze test! We even got a round of applause from the rest of the group! Proud isn't the word.

Here are some pics of Jet with some of his friends at work. It'll be a shame to leave them behind but I'm sure we'll go back and visit to say hello. (Scarily, Jet's only 5 months old in these photos and he's already bigger than the Vizsla)!
